Frank Cornelissen’s Susucaru Rosso (2022) is predominantly organically farmed Nerello Mascalese with small additions of Minella Nera, Alicante, Bouschet, and Minella Bianco from Mount Etna in Sicily. Spontaneous fermentation in fiberglass tanks with maceration on the skins for 60 days, and some aging in fiberglass tanks as well. This light-to-medium bodied red is peppery and herbal with notes of red fruit.
