Cognac, France— Distilled from 100% Ugni Blanc. Rich and complex— baked apple, vanilla, oak, cedar and chamomile tea on the palate. Legally, the youngest spirit in the mix of Very Special (VS) must be aged at least two years— in Brisson’s case, the youngest is aged at least three to four years. The Gilles Brisson estate is located in Châteaubernard, the cradle of the Grande Champagne appellation in Cognac, and has been owned and operated by the family for four generations.
