Piedmont, Italy— 100% Organically-grown Grignolino from Monferrato. Tart plum, cranberry, nectarine, oolong tea, violet with a rustic earthy finish and just a hint of tannin. Medium-light bodied and nice with a chill! Prima Piuma is a collaberation between Gaia's oenologist Gianluca Ravizza and Summer Wolff, who lives 2 hills over in the farm Cascina Iuli. The Gaia estate itself is a polyculture farm of fruit orchards and organic grapes.
