Alsace, France— 100% Pinot Noir, 50% from Alsace, 50% from a parcel in Burgundy, ferment whole-cluster and aged in old Burgundy barrels. A richer, more intense style of Pinot Noir. Deep red / purple in the glass, medium-bodied with pronounced but smooth tannins and fresh acidity. Blackberry, raspberry, cherry, herbal tea on the palate. This wine will benefit from a decant!
