Languedoc, France— 100% Muscat Petit Grains from 40 year old vines, 1/3 of which sees 10 days of skin-contact. A bright, fresh and floral orange! Mandarin orange, lemon zest, lemongrass, dried herbs, bee pollen on the palate. Medium-light bodied, with a fluid mouthfeel. Perrine Loeuilleux moved to the small but vibrant winemaking village of Calce (which hosts Matassa, Padie, La Spanda etc) in 2020, and now farms two hectares of vines. Her vines are close to the ocean, and she’s very much inspired by the water. Low S02.
