Loire, France— We always love a POB wine, whether it is the iconic Telquel or this Pineau d'Aunis. La Boissiere is the name of the single parcel this Organic Pineau d'Aunis if from, close to the Beuvron river just south of Blois.
A bouquet of bergamot and flowers, firm acidity leads to notes of red currants, white pepper and earth. Chalky texture with a mineral finish.
We agree with the words of Pierre-Olivier, there can never be too much Pineau d'Aunis. In the past couple years he's been planting more of this special grape.
