Enrique Fonseca is the distiller (the man behind Fuenteseca) and this is one of the best value to flavor tequilas on the market. The agave is grown at high elevation. Long, slow roast and fermentation followed by two gentle distillations.
This was intentionally crafted with cocktails in mind, although it does quite nicely as a sipper as well. Roasted agave, lime zest, mint, and black pepper and cinnamon.
