Castilla y Leon, Spain -- Ismael Gonzalo is a native to Rueda in northwest Spain. He is a gifted grower who takes great pride in his old vines. He is responsible for some of the best Verdejo I've ever had.
Profound and mineral wine. This wine is a nod to the Jura. Circustancial's first vintage was in 2010 and Ismael Gonzalo's goal was to produce the best wine possible despite the challenges of mother nature. You can make bad wine with good grapes, but making the best wine possible with fragile grapes requires knowledge and experience. The yellow wax indicates that 2015 was a hot and or dry year. Circustancial reminds us that the show must go on.
