A field blend of red and white grapes or a rysak (ginger mix). All from older vines that are around 80 years old. Lively acid, wild berries, pomegranate, rose, spice.
The grapes are hand-picked and destemmed. Foot stomped together and fermented in old oak barrels for two weeks. Aged in old oak barrels (225 / 400 L), until the next harvest. Zero sulfur added, unfined and unfiltered.
Jaroslave Tesarik is a full-time IT engineer and this is his passion project. His wife and four kids all participate in the winemaking process. Dluhe Grefty is a phrase from their local, Mutěnice dialect meaning long vineyard row. The labels are inspired by Pavlína, Joraslave's wife, and their love for local folklore and traditions.
