A dense, full-bodied blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Black fruit, licorice, and cedar on the nose with mushroom, blackberries and eucalyptus on the palate. Powerful with a fresh finish.
Magali Tissot and Ludovic Bonnelle farm biodynamically and employ a wild flock of about 60 sheep to help on the vineyard. Buzet is located between Toulouse and Bordeaux. You have some typical Bordeaux characteristics, but without the price tags. The wine ferments spontaneously and is aged for a year in steel with no added sulfur. Great for braised meat, or burgers.
