50% Grenache, 35% Mourvèdre, 15% Cinsault. A Provençal style rosé of Grenache, Mourvedre and Cinsaut, sourced from vineyards in Monterey and Lodi. The Mourvèdre and Cinsaut are grown in adjacent blocks at the Bruella Rd vineyard in Lodi. They were harvested at the same time, pressed together upon arrival to the winery and co-fermented in a stainless steel tank and aged for six months in neutral oak. The Grenache used here is the same as what we use for our “Pet Nasty” sparkling wine, but it was allowed to complete its fermentation and kept in stainless steel until blending, just before bottling. Only a tiny addition of SO2 was made during the élevage of this wine.
