Deep blue and black fruits, blackberry, blueberry skin, dried Mediterranean herbs, green peppercorn, limestone. Medium-plus bodied, slightly spritzy with soft tannins and fresh acidity. Hailing from the village of Clairac in the Hérault department of Occitanie (Southern France), not far from Axel Prüfer in the Orb Valley, La Marotte is the 4-hectare-large brainchild of Julie Thelen and Xavier Auboux.
