A sparkling orange wine make with up to 2 weeks of maceration of Malvasia di Candia / Ortrugo and a small percentage of other native white grapes varieties of Emilia. Col Fondo style sparkler. This estate is at 3000 meters elevation and is scattered with fossilized shells. Elisabetta Montesissa takes biodynamic farming seriously and incorporates the whole farm as an ecosystem. Her website quite beautifully states, “From the distinctiveness of our territory, from the love for our vineyards, from our rural culture, Our wines are born spontaneously.”
