Anjou, France— We’re lucky to be able to offer this year-after-year standout from the legendary natural-wine trailblazer Olivier Cousin. With most of Cousin’s estate has now having been passed to his son Baptiste, Olivier is now focused solely on his Cabernet Franc. This wine is 100% Cab Franc from 40 year-old vine. Medium bodied, we see plum, black cherry, red apple core on the nose. The palate shows jammy dark plums and crushed strawberry with an earthy, wet-soil finish and smooth tannins. No added sulfer.
