Piedmont, Italy— A dry, bright & fruit-forward white from Piedmont! Medium-light bodied & very smooth with a fresh palate with notes of crisp apple, ripe peach, slightly tropical fruits, grapefruit peel and delicate florals. The grapes are pressed and aged in traditional Acacia barrels for 6-8 months. Blend of Timorasso, a “lost” Piedmontese varietal that has ben rediscovered in recent years, and Rossese Bianco, a super rare varietal from originally from Liguria but brought to Piedmont during the Phylloxera outbreak, which just about wiped it out.
