Beira Interior, Portugal— Rustic red blend of primarily Rufete aged in old oak & chestnut barrels. Medium-bodied with smooth tannins. Brambly berries, fruit leather, spicy herbs, roasted nuts on the palate. Chestnut flowers are used in lieu of sulfur to stabilize the wine. No S02.
