Ricardo Melo grew up in Brazil where he was exposed to good quality Portuguese wines from an early age. He moved to London and after working as a sommelier he noticed a lack of Portuguese wines. He decided to move to Portugal and farm the way he wished many others did. He farms 5.5 ha organically (with some biodynamic preperations), dry farmed. All done in steel and no SO2 added
