Arinto plus a field blend of other native white Portuguese varieties all planted in Kimmeridgian limestone (same soil composition found in Burgundy, hence the fossil on the label). A saline minerality with excellent tingly texture. Notes of brioche, white peach and hint of earth. The best duality of mineral and weight. Worth a try for any lovers of Chenin, Chablis or Muscadet.
The wine ferments in steel then ages in neutral barrique for two years on the lees. Native yeast ferment, unfined, unfiltered, and low SO2.
